Last year the Scottish Government committed new laws to prevent homelessness in Scotland, through the Housing Bill. Based on proposals from Crisis, these laws could mean people being able to get help much earlier, before they become homeless. These new laws could be applied to other public bodies, as well as homelessness services, making preventing homelessness everybody’s business.
The government has now published the Housing Bill, but we need your help to make sure the new laws are robust and properly funded.
By keeping up pressure, we can make sure the Housing Bill is effective in stopping more people being forced from their home.
Will you add your name to prevent rising homelessness?
