Email your Members of the Senedd: Support a new Homelessness Law in Wales

The new Homelessness Bill would help prevent homelessness and improve support for people without a place to call home in Wales. Tell your Members of the Senedd to vote for it.

A safe, stable home is essential for our health and wellbeing. But last year more than 13,000 households in Wales experienced homelessness. This isn’t right and it can be stopped.

The new Homelessness Bill in Wales includes many of the changes Crisis has been calling for. It could drive down homelessness through better laws that will prevent people from being pushed into homelessness in the first place. The new Bill would also improve support for those of us without a safe place to call home.

But we must act now. Members of the Senedd will be debating the Bill in the next few days and deciding whether to give it the green light.

Tell your local Members of the Senedd to vote for the Homelessness Bill. Together we can make a difference.

How would the Bill help people facing homelessness?

If passed, the new Homelessness Bill would:

  • Allow people to get help sooner
  • Make public services work together to prevent homelessness
  • Improve support for people experiencing homelessness

Let’s make these changes a reality!
