Share your story

If your housing allowance under Universal Credit doesn’t cover the cost of your rent and are prepared to share your story, you can help our campaign for better support for people facing a similar situation.

How your story is shared is up to you. We might ask for permission to share a quote from you on social media or in a report, or ask if you'd be prepared to speak to a journalist or a politician about your experience. We won't ask you to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing, and you can remain anonymous if you wish.

If you'd like to share your story of homelessness as a result of housing allowance shortfalls, please fill in the form. You'll get a call or email from a member of the Crisis team, who'll ask you a bit more about your experience and how you'd like to be involved. We won't share any of your contact details or any information about your experience outside of Crisis without your permission.

If you are happy to share your story and/or your contact details, please fill in the form below. Your contact details will be stored securely and in in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
